speedy saturday

Saturday goal: 8 miles @ 9:30 pace

Saturday morning, I was was eager to get my running done. Motivation: family reunion in New Braunfels = tubing, visiting with family, and fun, fun, fun! I ran my first mile just under 10 minutes, then wham, bam, boom I just started running and didn't stop until I'd reached my goal! I even sprinted at the end! I felt great and encouraged.

Saturday's accomplishment: 8.02 miles @ 9:04 pace

Week 4 accomplishments:
  •  22 miles of running
  • 18.14 miles of biking
  • 92 minutes of swimming
It's hard to believe that one month of training is over with. I've got a few more to go, but I'm not slowing down or turning back!
